There are two car packs that considerably speed up the in game progress.įirst is the "Welcome Pack". Doesn't cost much but still bit of annoying you have to pay for it. Speeds up the collectibles a lot (shows everything from the start) which in turn speeds up the game because you need to get them as early as you can. And even if you don't need a specific car there are cars so much better than others. You see, a bunch of races and (weekly) challenges require you to drive specific cars that cost money. It depends on how much you plan ahead and how lucky you are with the spins. I'm finished with the bulk of the game and my opinion is that this single DLC cuts your playtime at least half or more. I don't know what is your opinion about these "time savers" but if you buy one thing, you should have this from the start. The house is important because doubles your Forzathon earnings (hourly challenges in game). Also you get a house that cost $5 million for free otherwise and extra spins. Double credits and some extra XP for EVERY SINGLE RACE in the game. The rest if is essentially more or less speeding up the completion. Strictly speaking you only need the two big expansions: Fortune Island and Lego Speed Champions, bundled in the "Expansions" bundle (which is not cheaper than buying the two as far as I know). If you are a Game Pass member you get the Formula Drift car pack for free in game with the best cars for.
